Candy Themed Birthday Party

Time for another birthday! Alyssa turns ten on March 27th. This year we needed to have her party the weekend before her birthday and she wanted a candy themed party.

For her invitations I made paper lollipops that said:

Gum Drops, Lollipops, and Chocolate Galore
A Sweet Celebration we have in Store!
Come Celebrate Alyssa's 10th birthday!

Skittle on over....then I had the info. (sorry no picture since this is not a private blog don't need weirdos showing up to my house or calling me)

We are going to have a SWEET TIME!

I used the colors green, pink, and yellow to decorate the house. I made large candy and lollipops out of paper plates and bought TONS of different types of candy to have a candy bar.

The Cake
Alyssa wanted a crazy candy cake, so that is what she got! It had two tiers topped with cotton candy. I was able to take the top off and put it in the freezer to eat on her actually Birthday.

The Prize Bag
I always like to have a bag that the guests get at the beginning of the party so they can keep track of all of their prizes. In this case CANDY!

When the girls first arrived we had candy themed music playing in the background and had them make candy leis. This involved plastic wrap, candy, and ribbon.

The final product.

Next we played a game that involved covering up various types of candy with whipping cream. They had to get each piece of candy out without using their hands. This was so fun!

On your marks, get set......

GO!

And we have a WINNER!

The Candy Bar
After each game the winner got to choose two things and everyone else one thing. We had lots of different types of candy.

Next up was the Lifesaver Game. The girls were put into teams. Each team was given a roll of lifesavers. The first team to open and lick and stick all of the lifesavers to a team members face won!

The next game was similar to a white elephant gift exchange. I bought a different type of candy for each guest and wrapped them up. The girls went around the circle rolling a dice. Depending on the number they got to open a new one, steal, or everyone had to pass their gift to the left or right.

The last game we played was freeze dance. We played a candy themed song and the girls danced and laughed. They had so much fun they wanted to play this several times.

Cake and Ice Cream

Mean Mom put trick candles that wouldn't blow out...heehee

Addy and Ryann enjoyed some cake and ice cream too!

Presents
Every child's favorite part...

Some of her goods...

She still has more waiting to be opened on her actual birthday!

When it was time to go we handed out goodies bags that included sweet shapes silly bands, candy flavored lipgloss, and a new toothbrush to brush away the sugar. The tag reads, "Your so Sweet, Thanks for coming!"
