2 1/2 years ago we were in a situation where we had to find a home for our dog. I promise Kylee that at another time down the road we would get another dog. That time has arrived. Instead of doing the puppy thing I wanted to adopt a dog that was in need of a home. I came across an ad on Craiglist for two Yorkies in need of a home but they had to stay together. It was a male and female, a mom and her son. At first I didn't know if I was ready to take on two dogs. Let's face it, the dog is for the kids but the mom takes care of them. The more I thought about it I realized maybe that was the best solution. Two dogs could mean less fighting with the kids and they would have a companion.
So in January, we welcomed Jax and Izzy into our home as our newest members. Their is still some fighting over who get to hold who, who gets to let them out, feed them, walk them, etc. They are very sweet cuddly dogs and they are not yappy (best part)!!!
